At Violet Marsh Interiors, we serve as the liaison between the client and the builder to make all interior finish selections on schedule and within budget. We document the final design details and selections in a design plan, create a detailed specification book, and make ourselves available for regular meetings so the project moves forward with less friction and fewer hiccups. Our process is collaborative, creative, and efficient, and is designed to make your job as the builder easier. WHAT WE DELIVER
01/ FINAL DESIGN PLAN
In the world of construction, no progress can be made without review and approval by the client. We make this easy by summing up all of the interior design items in a Final Design Plan, approved by the client. This official document includes the floor plans, elevation drawings, and hard surface selections such as plumbing, paint colors, and hardware. It’s a round up of the final design to provide a visual of what the home will look like when complete.
02/ SPECIFICATION BOOK
We provide a comprehensive list of each item grouped by category, to smooth out installation, with links to the manufacturers spec sheets. Everything is organized in one place to streamline the work.
03/ COMMUNICATION
While having each detail precisely documented plays a large role in keeping a project organized and on track, there is nothing that can substitute regular communication. We recommend weekly onsite walkthroughs while in construction and we make ourselves available for quick phone touch bases as well. Our job is to lighten the load on both the homeowner and the builder. We make quick and informed decisions to keep the project moving.
